The objective was to create anything for a casual restaurant in Brooklyn. I initially decided to pursue this challenge because I was given freedom of range to create whatever I wanted for this restaurant. I ultimately decided I wanted to create a menu; through designing this menu I am able to showcase my skills in Adobe InDesign, create a logo and put together a cohesive spread. Organic immediately came to mind, I wanted to base the menu off of a casual organic market. From there I developed the logo which was just them name of the restaurant inn a readable font. In place of the O in Organic I used an outline of a fruit basket (to play on the organic fresh ingredients aspect). From there I put together a menu spread that is easily readable; the font is in white and lays on a black background in order to stand out more. From there I selected a few pictures of the menu items and placed them throughout the menu just to ease the consumer's eyes a bit from all the text.
